When our daughter asked what she was allergic to—since her older brother is allergic to penicillin—we looked at her, covered in dirt just 30 minutes after a bath, and said:
“You? You’re allergic to clean.”
This photo was taken in a 20-acre park where she somehow found the only patch of dirt. It’s one of those parenting moments that sticks with you—funny, real, and oddly meaningful.
Because childhood is meant to be messy, curious, and full of life. And every child deserves a chance to play, learn, and grow. That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
How It All Started
Back in 2008, during the financial crash, corporate and government donations dried up almost overnight. Big-name charities still got funding, but local groups—school teams, food banks, minor sports—were left with nothing.
At the time, we were running a community newspaper. We saw what was happening and knew we could help. So we got to work, using our background in design, sales, and marketing to create custom fundraising programs built just for them.
