If it involves a camera, then at some point in time I’ve done it. From the outdoors to traveling baby day photographer to high fashion, I have had the opportunity to capture various subjects and moments through my lens. Whether it’s photographing the homeless on city streets or capturing the essence of Premiers, Prime Ministers, Presidents, and Royalty, my journey as a photographer has taken me to diverse settings and situations.
My passion for photography began in high school, and it could have ended there if it weren’t for a real photographer who took the time to look at my work and guide me on how to improve. This mentor not only taught me technical skills but also showed me what truly exceptional work looked like.
When it comes to photography, what do I enjoy the most? The answer is simple: anything that involves making photographs. While I have a particular fondness for working with newborns and their parents, I do not believe in creating unnatural, highly manipulated, photo-shopped images. Instead, I strive to capture the genuine interactions between Mom, Dad, and their newest addition. Each child has their own unique personality, and what better time to immortalize these precious moments than during the early stages of their life? Rather than forcing newborns into positions they may not be comfortable in, I prefer to wait until they are around three months old when those adorable, candid moments come naturally.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings. From high-end studios to freelancing from the comfort of my own home, the flexibility of my profession has allowed me to adapt to different environments and cater to the needs of my clients.
