Why Real Life Is Better Than Perfect

When my daughter was 10 months old, she grabbed a handful of markers and proudly drew all over her face. Not long after, at 18 months old, fresh from the bath and dressed in her best red dress, she made a beeline for the dirt pile in the backyard. By the time she came back in, she looked like the poster child for world hunger.

Before your portrait session, we’ll meet up for a casual get-together—think coffee and conversation, not a formal appointment. We’ll talk about the style you love (high key, low key, on-location, or in the studio), clothing choices, and any activities or special places you’d like to include. This is your chance to share your ideas and make sure your portrait is a true reflection of you

Yes — there’s no session fee, no required purchase, and no hidden costs. In exchange for your permission to use your images, you receive the entire experience and your fine art portrait as our thank you.

Do I need to be a model or have a dramatic story?

Not at all. This is for real, everyday women over 40. No experience necessary.

I’m nervous in front of a camera — is that okay?

Completely normal, and you won’t be alone. I’ll guide you through every step to create portraits you’ll be proud of.
